About Motus Move
Our client approached us with a visionary idea—to develop an application that not only mitigates the risks associated with prolonged use of digital devices among children but also promotes physical activity seamlessly integrated into their digital routine. The Motus Move app was conceived as a revolutionary tool aimed at fostering healthier habits in children engrossed in digital learning and entertainment. It did not take long for us at Consagous Technologies to realize that the client was looking for something that would be truly pathbreaking for kids and their fitness through some great tablet etiquette through this app.

Conceptualization of the Project
We initiated the project by conducting an in-depth analysis of children's digital behavior and parental concerns regarding screen time. This phase involved gathering data on usage patterns and identifying key areas where digital habits could be improved. The insights obtained were critical in designing the Motus Move app’s core functionalities, including the integration of health-promoting features tailored for young users. Because the app in itself was pretty niche, the Business Analysis team at Consagous had its hands full in conducting its research on similar apps in the market and what they offered, and how the Motus Move app could use competitor shortcomings to its advantage.
Development of a User-Centric Application
Our development strategy employed an agile methodology, prioritizing flexibility and iterative testing. The technical team, consisting of mobile developers, UI/UX designers, and child psychologists, collaborated to craft an intuitive app interface that simplifies digital wellness for children. This involved creating engaging and interactive elements that encourage regular usage while educating young users about healthy digital habits.
Integration of Real-Time Health Monitoring Tools
A critical component of the Motus Move app was the integration of real-time activity-tracking capabilities that sync with the device's native health applications. Our backend systems, powered by robust APIs, ensure seamless data synchronization and privacy-compliant storage of user health data. The database management on the Motus Move app was done with the help of MySQL, and the AWS server was utilized to keep the app online. With CodeIgnitor’s PHP framework, the final flow of the app was a breeze to work on and execute, and the Motus Move app prototype helped in taking things further.
Scalable Deployment and Continuous Improvement
The final goal was the scalable deployment of the Motus Move app across various platforms, beginning with iOS. Our deployment strategy included rigorous multi-phase testing to ensure the app’s stability and performance on diverse devices.
